After 4 months of looking for a business that interested me and could keep me busy until retirement, I purchased Wynyard Auto Parts and Fishing Supplies at the start of January 2019. After taking over, I noticed a large workshop across the road that didn’t look like it was going to reopen following the Christmas break.
I saw an opportunity to reopen the workshop, so I dropped the ‘parts’ from the name and moved across the street. I had only just bought the business, and I was moving it in a month. I needed to accomplish more work than I bargained for. Nevertheless, here I am, and things are going smoothly. I’m happy to be able to put my more than 20 years of experience in the automotive repair industry to use again.
