Back in 1963 Wallace E Robbins started his own building company.
Working out of his home office in Fairfield Heights, he designed and constructed small home additions and garages as a sole trader, assisted by his wife Daphne and a small band of tradesmen.
In 1969, the growth of the business necessitated a move to commercial premises and in 1970, Wal Robbins & Company Pty. Ltd. was formed and enjoyed great success specialising in additions for a variety of clientele, including Defence Service home extensions.
Ray Fielder (a nephew of Wallace and Daphne Robbins) joined the business in August 1971 to assist with the management of the ever-increasing workload, and later that year, stepped up to lead Wal Robbins.
Renamed as Wal Robbins Additions Pty. Ltd. in 1998, Wal Robbins has been servicing the greater Sydney region for more than 50 years.
Today, we are respected as one of Sydney’s leading residential builders and continue to create home improvements that exceed expectations.
