The site of Seymour Building Supplies has a rich history in Sydney, originally opening shortly after the war as Seymour’s Produce. Owned by Joe Seymour, the store served local farmers with their animal produce. In June of 1985, the evolving times brought the transition from produce to hardware supplies to meet the demands of the community.
The next 30 years saw Seymour Building Supplies become Sydney’s major source of hardware, plumbing and trade building supplies as well as landscape, sand and soil supplies, steel reinforcement, bricklaying and rendering supplies.
