Saint Mary Medical Centre is committed to providing its patients with a high standard of care for the benefit of each patient’s health and well being. The aim of this website is to inform you about the place you get your health checked and about the people who take care of you.
This service provides a variety of health checks which include: 75 years old plus checkups; 45-49-year-old health checks; referrals to Physiotherapy and Allied Health services; and care plans for patients with chronic & multiple medical conditions (e.g. diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, etc.)
Skin checks and removals of moles, sunspots and minor skin cancer legions can be conducted within a half hour consultation. If you are concerned about a mole or spot on your skin, ask your doctor to check it. Once discussed with your doctor, if it is necessary to remove it, the doctor will organise a surgical procedure appointment for removal. We provide pre-employment assessments as well as insurance medicals. Our doctors also manage Worksafe/Workcover and Transport Accident Conditions
Mental health is equally as important as your physical wellbeing. If you feel like you need to talk to someone, start by making an appointment with your GP. We will provide you with counselling and assessment of your mental health. If necessary, we can also provide you with referrals to psychologists or mental health workers under Medicare plans where necessary; Natal Health Care & Counselling.
