Queen Street Medical Centre has a team of eight General Practitioners, a General Practice Registrar, three Practice Nurses, a Practice Manager, an Assistant Practice Manager and four Receptionists.
We are an accredited teaching practice and regularly teach medical students from Wollongong University. We also supervise and teach registrars, who are qualified doctors seeking further experience in general practice, and they are with us for six to twelve months.
All practitioners are vocationally registered. One of our strengths is the wide range of doctors with different personalities and a variety of special interests.
Several of the doctors work as Visiting Medical Officers for Murwillumbah Hospital. Patients with serious medical conditions needing treatment in hospital can be cared for by one of these General Practitioners.
