Your chiropractor will first diagnose your problem through a series of comprehensive tests. These tests look closely at how your spinal alignment and nervous system is functioning, and how that might be contributing to your current concerns. If your spinal alignment is contributing to your problem, your chiropractor will perform highly specific adjustments to the joints of your spine and body. Over time, these adjustments restore correct spinal alignment and nervous system function. These adjustments are often performed by hand. Depending on the person, some adjustments may use instruments such as a tool called the activator.
