Welcome to Limestone Coast Dental in Mount Gambier
Founded in 2015 to better serve the dental needs of a growing country community in a modern purpose built facility.
This Mount Gambier practice advances with over 50 years of the history and reputation of Ferrers Dental Surgery and also incorporates Hawkins Dental.
With Gambier Dental Laboratory also located on-site we are able to provide excellent and timely technical service for dentures and mouth guards. Limestone Coast Dental is locally owned and we employ and train locals.
We have several local professionals – 2 of our Dentists grew up in the region and our 2 Hygienists are also from Mount Gambier. Plus we have 3 additional dentists who have all moved into the region.
Unlike many places we do not employ Fly-in or Drive-in staff as we believe that the best way to provide care for the community is to be involved with the community.
All of our Nursing and Reception staff are locals who have been trained in-house or they go to tertiary education to receive their official qualifications.
We have some of the newest technology in dental care including CEREC CAD/CAM (for same day ceramic restorations), specialist lasers, digital radiography (x-rays), OPGs (full jaw x-rays), intra-oral cameras and Zoom laser whitening.
Also we have our own on-site Prosthesis Laboratory (Gambier Dental Laboratory) which produces all of our night guards, mouth guards and dentures right here in Mount Gambier.
We have Nitrous Oxide sedation (happy gas) available in every room, plus also a regular visiting Anaesthetist to offer Intravenous Sedation.
We partner with local and visiting specialists to provide a full range of services from complex oral surgery to specialist periodontics and orthodontist work.
We focus our business towards trusted Australian Suppliers and support local businesses where we can. We do not send work out overseas, nor do we use companies that forward their work overseas.
Your safety is our primary concern, and accordingly our staff are highly trained and we have the latest in Sterility Control and Management, with each sterile item bar coded and traceable to the individual patient via our computerised dental records.
