First Steps is a family owned and operated centre, run by Trevor and Connie Duncan.
With over 30 years’ experience in the early childhood learning space, Connie and Trevor have an extensive understanding of child development and behaviours; making them the best in the business. With the help of a highly qualified and trained team, we have developed and grown our centre into a space where parents feel safe leaving their children, and where children learn and thrive at their own pace.
Since opening, we have helped shape the lives and minds of over +2,000 children and are proud to now have one of our first Kindy kids now working with us in the centre.
At our Centre, we provide a total learning environment where children are encouraged to observe, question, experiment and explore. The staff involve the children in the programme and the children’s interests are the basis for their planning. To ensure all our programming meets government guidelines, we have incorporated the new Early Years Learning Framework (Belonging, Being & Becoming) across the centre.
