Based in Goolwa, on the corner of Gardiner and Hogben road, your local friendly car service D & D Mechanical & 4WD is owned and operated by master mechanics Danny and Dean. The entire D & D Mechanical & 4WD team take great pride in offering personalised, and friendly service at all times.
D & D provide rental vehicles, sell tyres, exhausts and batteries, offer Hydraulink hydraulic hose and fittings and are able to provide on-site hydraulic hose service.
Electronic scan equipment and computer based diagnostic tools are used for all current cars, 4WD vehicles, passenger autos, trucks and fleet vehicles, trailers and caravans, from service reset to diagnosis of check engine lights that periodically appear on the instrument cluster of your vehicle.
D&D regularly update software and tooling enabling the best possible care and ensuring repairs are completed on time often saving the client money with “Accurate Fault Diagnostics” thus minimising downtime.

Our Goolwa workshop boasts seven hoists, one of only few Platetronic Ultima Safe-T-Stop brake, steering and suspension test machines on the South Coast and a dedicated Truck & Heavy Plant Service Bay. With this equipment being utilised by four technicians, a full time auto electrician, a service advisor and two reception admin staff, D & D Mechanical & 4wd have grown to become a highly efficient and reliable mechanical workshop.
Our workshop also now incorporates a Safe T Stop Brake, Steering and Suspension tester. This is one of only two of its kind available on the South Coast and each vehicle that enters the workshop is tested and a printed report is provided to the Customer. D & D mechanics regularly attend Repco Auto-Tech training to keep up to date with even the most current technologies.
