Carpet Junction is an independent retailer of carpets, floating flooring, vinyl flooring and rugs. We also have a wide selection of Tasmanian-made mattresses and bed bases as Mattress Junction at the same convenient location.
We offer free measure and quote on supply and installation of flooring products throughout southern Tasmania. Carpet and Mattress Junction was started by Stephen and Jane Knibbs in 2006, with the aim of offering a large selection of Australian flooring and mattress products at affordable prices.
Stephen has 40 years worth of experience in the industry as both a carpet buyer and salesman. Jane has extensive experience in retail, with over 20 years in the carpet industry. With this much experience between them, you’ll be hard-pressed to find anyone more knowledgeable about flooring.
Stephen and Jane have now built up Carpet and Mattress Junction into a substantial Tasmania-wide business which is able to meet all your flooring needs, from small-scale renovations, to multi-building developments. Steve and Jane’s decision to operate as an independent retailer, rather than as part of a large buying group, allows them to be far more flexible in terms of their product range and pricing, which is extremely competitive.
