Carpentaria Contracting is a privately owned Weipa business that offers electrical services, machine and labour hire, construction and marine services.
With offices in Weipa, Cairns, Thursday Island and the Skardon River, we are well equipped to assist all your project requirements in this remote part of the country. From transport with our tug & barge combinations, to earth moving equipment on location or temporary accommodation on the job, we provide services depending on our clients’ requirements.
As we have our own gear, such as cranes and power generation available, you can be assured we take the logistic headache out of all your remote projects. Since our marine vessels are in class we can deliver your cargo to any port in Australia and overseas.
Our independently assessed safety system and our pre-qualification for Rio Tinto Alcan Weipa Mine and Mackay’s Hay Point Wharf Extension project, are good indicators of our professionalism.
