Brimblecombe Builders, and its founding company RP Brimblecombe & Sons, have been a long established icon in the Adelaide building industry since 1927. Beginning in the early days as a residential builder, the firm gradually migrated to commercial building construction.
In the last 40 years, Brimblecombe Builders has made its mark with such landmarks as the Crows Headquarters at West Lakes, the Norman McLeay Chapel in Centennial Park (2 Awards presented by Master Builders SA), the restoration of Terowie Railway Station (also receiving the Civic Trust Award), the Adelaide Police Barracks and the many stages of Government House upgrade reconstruction. Most recently the Smyth Chapel has attracted many favourable reviews.
With their extensive experience working in so many different industry sectors, Brimblecombe Builders has been praised for the team’s ability to work well with their contractors, and their clients, and causing little disruption to occupants and workers affected by these projects. Brimblecombe Builders have taken the lead project management role in many of the projects.and pride themselves on coming in on time and budget.
