Beaudesert Medical Centre

Provide a traditional family general practitioner service that is comprehensive

Be the first to review

The Doctors and staff of The Beaudesert Medical Centre aim to provide a traditional family general practitioner service, including hospital, nursing home and home visits where appropriate. Our patients are at the centre of everything we do. We focus on a quality service that is comprehensive and our doctors and nurses will take the time to get to know you as a person, not a number or a disease.

At BMC we encourage you to have a regular family doctor. Sometimes your regular doctor won’t have an available appointment on the day and time that suits you best. We’ll offer you an alternative day and time or an alternative doctor from our experienced team. Requests for urgent consultations will be referred by our staff to one of our doctors for a decision on how best to care for you, if other patients have booked all available appointments for that day.

At BMC we don’t just vaccinate! We provide checkups for newborns as per the “Red Book” child health record. We’d love to meet you and your newborn soon after you leave hospital and again at about 6 weeks, 4,6,12 and 18 months of age and then a more detailed checkup at 4 years of age before starting school. Let us know when you’re booking for a checkup and vaccination.

Be sure to fill out the questions in the “Red Book” before you come along, including the Parent’s Evaluation of Developmental Status (PEDS) at each age-checkpoint.
