BDS mechanical repairs started operation in early 2011. Owner Ben Sullivan was approached to manage and maintain a large mining fleet. Immediately seeing an opportunity to start a business Ben took on the roll. Over time, BDS has grown into the successful business it is today.
In 2012 BDS began supplying fitters and mechanics to the resource sector and quickly found that there was a demand for good quality mechanics to service this industry.
In 2016 BDS backed-up the field service units with workshops in three key locations across QLD and a mobile fleet for WA. BDS is currently working on supply to the NT.
BDS Mechanical Repairs is a growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with various workshop locations and field service technicians. The team at BDS Mechanical offer a 24hr breakdown service, technicians covering over 600,000 km² of Queensland – we’re never too far away.
We can carry out all mechanical, hydraulic, auto electrical and welding repairs on all types of equipment from light vehicles to heavy road trucks and fixed plant, to heavy mining equipment.
BDS have the latest diagnostic equipment and highly trained technicians to tackle any job. We offer the highest level of care and expertise in everything we do and are committed to customer satisfaction.
To complement the field service units BDS has workshops at eleven key locations across Queensland.
