Steve Lloyd & Ballina Building Design
Steve Lloyd has been a Ballina resident for 30 years. Steve & his wife Lyn have built numerous homes & units in Ballina over the years. Steve is also a long time member of the Ballina Hockey Club.
Steve created Ballina Building Design following 15 years of spreading his time between his home in Ballina & the Gold Coast. In 2008 Steve & his work colleague, Michael Tomlinson formed MS Design.
The long partnership grew the business to the very strong multi‐disciplined office it is today. Steve is now based full time back home in Ballina Trading as Ballina Building Design. The close ties with his former business assists in taking on large projects when they are presented.
Steve holds qualifications & insurances to work in both NSW & Queensland. He is a member of the Building Designers Association of Australia, holds a QBCC Medium Rise Designers Licence & a Diploma of Architectural Technology.
Prior to the formation of MS Design Steves career included employment with two brisbane based architects. Both companies specialised in the design & documentation of large‐scale commercial projects. Steve also spent a number of years with a Gold Coast building design company documenting high end prestige luxury homes & multi – unit developments.
