Austec Irrigation is Darwin’s oldest continuously locally owned and operated irrigation store that operates nationwide.
During the 1980s and early 1990s, Peter Prior operated his own gardening, landscaping and irrigation business from the back of a Holden Ute. But the business eventually outgrew its simple setting and it is now an icon for avid gardeners in Darwin.
Dealing with some of the world’s leading brands including Hunter, TORO and Irritrol, many of Austec Irrigation’s products are unavailable in hardware stores and warehouses. In order to sell these products you have to be able to provide knowledge and advice – Austec Irrigation has this advantage over many of its competitors with their extensive knowledge of these products.
