University Preschool and Child Care Centre
A community-based not-for-profit child care centre
The University Preschool and Child Care Centre is a community-based not-for-profit child care centre. Our Service has been assessed against the National Quality Standard for Early Childhood Education and Care and has achieved a rating of Exceeding the National Quality Standard in accordance with the Education and Care Services National Law (ACT) Act 2011 and the Educational Care Services National Regulations 2011.
The Centre is open between 7:45am and 5:45pm Monday to Friday and operates all year except Public Holidays and between Christmas and New Year.
We are committed to maintaining small groups of children at each age level and have above required staff/child ratio. Our comprehensive program is planned and implemented by highly experienced and qualified early childhood teachers. The Centre employs a degree qualified early childhood teacher in our centre and 4 additional teachers who hold Bachelor degrees in Early Childhood, Primary and Teaching.
