TENDA came about in our search for a name that reflects the salon’s vision as a trendy, forward looking hair salon offering a full suite of hairdressing services. The name Tenda sounds like “tender”, which depicts our service – gentle and kind. The Chinese character 天 (Tiān) in the logo ~ depletes “Sky” that is boundless and limitless. This is our philosophy: gentle and kind towards our clients, looking towards the sky as our limit and staying ethical in business.
Before relocating to Darwin, the team has more than 40 years of combined experience in the hair industry, having ran a highly successful salon in Singapore for 15 years. Having worked with both local and overseas celebrities, glazing the covers of top fashion mazagzines. Tenda Salon is excited to bring new perspectives, techniques in hairdressing and setting trends in the Top End.
