Simon is a man who knows the industry inside and out. Starting his career as an apprentice mechanic in 1984 with North City Holden, Perth, Simon’s passion for the automotive trade, attention to detail and perseverance lead to his first appointment as a Service Manager with Wild West Hyundai in the early 1990s.
A decade later, in 1999, Simon’s appointment as Service Manager for Shinju Motor Group saw him relocate to the Kimberley. It’s in this position that Simon learned the unique challenges presented by large dealership outside of the Perth metro area.
The highlight of Simon’s thirty-plus year career is the start-up of his own company – Broome Automotive PTY Ltd in 2005 and entering into the first dealership in less than two years of operation.
