Radiology Tasmania was established in 2007 by Dr Pip Taplin, with our first practice opening in Glenorchy. Since then, we have become a leading provider of diagnostic imaging services in Tasmania with 5 modern sites conveniently located in Hobart and Launceston.
Radiology Tasmania provides a range of imaging services including 3T MRI, CT, X-ray, Ultrasound and OPG. We are committed to providing our patients and referring doctors with the highest quality daignostic imaging service by using state of the art equipment and technology and by employing a team of highly skilled and dedicated doctors and staff with a strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
MRI (3T), CT (64 Slice), Ultrasound and X-Ray services. Dr Julia Williams is on site every day. Julia has experience in all aspects of radiology, including procedures under CT and Ultrasound guidance.
We have recently introduced Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections for the first time in Launceston. If you would like to discuss the benefits of these procedures, or any other issues you are welcome to phone our practice on 6323 1100.
In addition to delivering your patients radiology report directly to your practice management system via HealthLink, Radiology Tasmania also offers referring practitioners quick and easy access to images and reports by using Rad Tas Online (Inteleviewer).
