The Irish Club Hotel, located just two blocks from the heart of Toowoomba’s CBD, has been the friendly meeting place for many over the years. Our iconic hotel boasts some of Toowoomba’s most loved function venues that can be themed individually and fully catered with our delicious in house menu options for your next event. We can cater for any function, including birthday parties, meetings, corporate functions, engagements, weddings and private events.
The Irish Club Hotel is actually the site of the first hospital in Toowoomba. Many say the ghosts roam the bars and hall ways of the hotel – but we have always found them to be friendly!
It was originally the Governor Blackall Hotel, then the Canberra Hotel and the Darling Downs Irish Club have now purchased the site and it is affectionately known as “The Irish”.
