2DB Engineering, Fabrication & Maintenance is a Central Queensland
provider of high quality boiler-making services, carrying out on-site
construction, fabrications and weld repairs on truck and shovel fleets. With a Kabra based Industrial Workshop, 2DB Engineering, Fabrication & Maintenance has the ability to carry out certified and customary
fabrications as well as off-site repairs to mining equipment. Our team of qualified and apprentice boilermakers service the needs of commercial, industrial, local government and mining companies within Central Queensland and surrounds.
Through the use of on-site mobile units and field experienced trades-persons, 2DB Engineering, Fabrication & Maintenance are able to provide flexible and responsive on-site breakdown or planned maintenance allowing for quick turn-around times, less downtime, reduced demobilisation and freight costs, whilst still giving an OEM’s standard.
The Industrial Workshop gives us the ability to provide larger scale repairs on equipment due for planned maintenance, allowing for inspection and consultation with minimal travel for clients.
2DB Engineering, Fabrication & Maintenance is a family owned business located in Kabra Qld, 15 minutes drive from Rockhampton. 2DB began in November 2015 and is owned and operated by David Bott who has 16 plus years of experience in Boilermaking, Fabrication and weld repairs to heavy earthmoving equipment.
Currently we have a 18 member strong team consisting of Management, Administration, Trade Technicians and Apprentices. To carry out on-site repairs we have 10x fully equipped mobile boilermaking trucks and 4x light vehicles.
