Precious Momentz is committed to providing a safe, warm, caring, stimulating, fun and positive learning environment for all involved in the Early Learning Centre. This ensures that the children will develop to their fullest potential at their own pace.
The children will interact with other children of different ages and they will be cared for in a home-like environment, which extends and enhances their home experiences. The centre aims to create a flexible environment where the children learn to make their own choices, with confidence and self-esteem in their own abilities. Each child who attends Precious Momentz and their family will be valued and respected regardless of their cultural background, gender or beliefs. Each child is an individual who brings something special and unique to our centre in Queanbeyan. Precious Momentz provides an atmosphere that encourages positive relationships between educators, parents/guardians, children and the community.
Care and respect for other children and adults/educators will be promoted and each child will have the opportunities and guidance to develop self-discipline, positive self-image and self-esteem. Each child’s needs, according to their age and stage of development, will be focused on and planned for. All areas of development – language, physical (fine and gross motor), cognitive/intellectual, social and emotional – will be observed by educators and planned for appropriately, with a wide range of experiences/activities both indoor and during outdoor play.
At Precious Momentz, teamwork amongst our educators is a top priority. Educator members work together to support each other and fulfil a variety of tasks, working towards common goals in each room as well as focusing on the centre philosophy and aims as a whole. The common goals and aims of the educator members, as a team, will depict the various individual needs of each family at the centre. At Precious Momentz, the children are organised into three groups – Babies, Toddlers and Pre-School. Precious Momentz will strive to provide your child/ren with the highest quality and continuity of care.
