Integricare is a Christian not-for-profit organisation established in 1882 and registered as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission.
Our purpose for existence is:
To enable children, families and communities to experience the love of Jesus.
Our Christian identity is defined by our beliefs and the practical outworking of these beliefs in our day-to-day operation, attitudes and actions.
The basis of our identity is consistent with the mission of Jesus Christ and as such we believe that:
The Bible is the inspired, infallible and authoritative word of God and is our authority in all matters of faith and behaviour.
There is a unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in the Godhead.
There is a universal sinfulness and guilt of men and women since the fall, making each of us subject to God’s judgement.
Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
Through the death of Jesus on the cross and His dying in our place, He has paid the price of our sin and by repentance and faith we can have reconciliation with God.
The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead provides hope for all believers.
There is an indwelling and ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in each believer.
There will be a future personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.
