Prior to joining our firm, Michael Graham commenced his career with the Rural Bank in Temora before being transferred to the Rural Bank in Wagga. Michael decided the bank was no longer for him and left to join another local accounting firm before joining Neil Robertson in 1986.

Unfortunately, Neil Robertson died from meningitis in April 1990 while holidaying in London.

Michael Graham then joined forces with ‘Paisleys’ Accountants of Tumut to form the firm of ‘Paisley Robertson’ with partners Col Shipard, Michael Collins and Peter Linnegar. In July 1995 the partnership was dissolved with Michael Graham continuing the Wagga Wagga practice under the ‘Paisley Robertson’ banner.

In July 1998 Gary Cheney joined the firm as a Director having had prior experience working in accountancy practices in Temora, Central Coast and Wagga Wagga.

Peter Crouch operated an accounting practice in Temora and unfortunately also passed away. Michael and Gary acquired Peter’s practice in September 2001 and both spent time travelling between Wagga Wagga and Temora to ensure the office continued to run smoothly.

Bernadette West had been working with Peter Crouch since November 1998 in our Temora office and in July 2005, Bernadette was admitted as a Director of Paisley Robertson.

Gary Cheney decided it was time to travel Australia with his wife and in June 2016 retired as a Director of Paisley Robertson. Andrew Morrison was appointed as a Director in July 2016 and Gary and Andrew worked closely together to ensure knowledge of our clients from the previous 18 years had been passed onto Andrew.

Andrew Morrison was born and raised in Wagga Wagga before moving to take up employment opportunities in London and Melbourne. Andrew returned to Wagga Wagga and briefly worked for another accounting firm before deciding to join Paisley Robertson in March 2015.

Paisley Robertson welcomed Natalie Payton as a Director of Paisley Robertson from 1 July 2019. Natalie commenced her public practice journey in 2004 as a cadet accountant and joined our firm in 2016. Natalie is keen to assist our clients to implement cloud based software and create processing efficiencies within their business.
