Relaxed traditional pub in the heart of Bowral
The Royal Hotel is a family run business. Pete and Kate have grown up working in hospitality and pubs. Kate had an early introduction to the hospitality business – She was brought up and worked in her family’s pub, The Lord Dudley in Paddington, Sydney.
Pete started out working in a pub in Balmain as a cellar man taking the deliveries and later moved on to work for another pub and became the licensee. Pete and Kate have two son’s, Cooper and Jack, and have lived in the Highlands since 2015. During 2017, Pete and Kate bought the lease for the Burrawang Village Hotel in Burrawang and will continue to run both pubs.
Pete and Kate look forward to interacting with the community and customers to create a family-friendly vibe throughout the pub.
