We are a proprietary company incorporated in 1946 established previously as a private company in 1924. We are a member of the Master Builders Association, Concrete Pavers Association, Australian Business Limited and we are registered with the Builders Licensing Board (No. 24193).
We are insured for Workers Compensation and Public Liability and our workforce is covered by the C.B.U.S. Scheme, ACIRT and Long Service Leave.
In recent years we have contracted for concrete works to builders performing work in areas such as shopping centres, clubs, hospitals, retirement villages, government facilities, industrial developments and the like.
We perform all manner of concrete works from structural to decorative, specialising in polished concrete.
The term conjures varying aspects in people’s minds. Texture , exposure , colour and lustre can be important prerequisites in the floor design. Sometimes simplicity is preferred to complex floor appearances. Following, are some of the more common terms regarding ‘polished concrete’.
Generally readymixed concrete has a light grey colour resulting from different brands of grey cement and flyash content in standard mixes. Sometimes ‘off-white’ cement is available from readymixed concrete suppliers depending upon demand, location and storage capacity – this produces a lighter grey appearance. Colour pigments or oxides can be added to basic readymixed concrete to produce a wide variety of coloured concrete.
