Giggles is privately owned and run by passionate and actively involved owners, Cheryl, Ron, Sue and Gordon, who bring over 20 years of experience in the childcare industry to all of their centres. They are experienced in education and nursing, finance and business management and maintenance.
The combination of their experiences and knowledge in these areas contribute to their well-maintained, organised and well-managed centres, which creates warm and nurturing environments for children, families and staff.
All of our centres are licensed by the Department of Education and Community Services (DECS). All of our centres have been assessed under the new assessment and rating system.
We provide all meals (breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, late afternoon tea), sun cream and nappies. We ask our families to provide a bag with a change of clothes, a sun hat for outdoor play and sheets.
Our purpose-built centres provide a warm, nurturing and safe environment for your child to learn in and enjoy. As part of our philosophy, we believe that children explore their environment to learn and gain a better understanding of their world. Our programs, through interest-based learning, provide opportunities for children to enhance their knowledge and learning outcomes.
Here at Giggles, we aim to create an environment where education, play and care are diffused into all aspects of the day. We value our partnerships with families as this allows us to extend experiences, skills and knowledge to tailor the care of children and provide consistency. Education, play and care will be appropriate to the needs of children and families regardless of their cultural background or ability.
