I first opened Sharkra as a therapist straight out of Beauty College in March 1997 with one small room, a lot of passion and an even bigger dream to offer professional beauty treatments and the best care to clients.
“Sharkra” is my adaptation of the word “chakra” – the seven centres of spiritual power in the body. Beauty is more than how we look – it’s how we feel about ourselves, our actions, what we offer to the world, and having an ethical conscious – all of which need to be nurtured inside and outside.
This passion and approach has led to the Sharkra you experience today – a team of Tasmania’s leading skin specialists dedicated to providing you with exceptional skin care advice and salon treatments.
We offer a range of facial and body treatments, including World-class Cutera Enlighten Laser for ultimate skin rejuvenation and truSculpt iD for body fat elimination – both of which are Tasmanian firsts and exclusive to Sharkra.
Our goal at Sharkra is to enhance your natural beauty and improve your health. We want you to achieve healthy, glowing skin that gives you confidence and makes you smile, without the need for makeup.
